Yes. All access systems we fabricate meet OSHA 1910.23 (walking-working surfaces), 1910.27 (fixed ladders), and 1910.29 (handrails and stairs). Loadings, geometry, and finishes meet or exceed code.

What finishes are available for ladders, platforms, and handrails?

Hot-dip galvanized, prime-and-paint per project specification (epoxy, urethane, IOZ), 304/316L stainless steel for clean or corrosive service, or FRP for chemical environments.

Can Roben Mfg. integrate ladders and platforms with the column or vessel during fabrication?

Yes. We fabricate the brackets, clips, and pad-eyes during vessel fabrication, then ship the platforms as bolt-on or weld-on assemblies. This avoids field-fit issues and reduces site labor.

What is the maximum platform load Roben Mfg. designs to?

Standard platforms are designed to 100 psf live load with 1,000 lb concentrated load per AISC and OSHA. Higher loadings (maintenance lifts, instrument cabinets) are designed to project specification with FEA verification.

Do platforms include cable trays, junction boxes, and instrument supports?

Yes. We routinely integrate cable tray supports, conduit penetrations, junction-box mounts, and dedicated instrument stands into platform fabrications. Coordinate the I/E layout with us before fabrication for the cleanest install.
