Roben, Mfg., Inc. specializes in the custom engineering and fabrication of hastelloy c-276 / c2000 / c-22 heat exchangers for chemical, fine chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, defense, and power-generation industries. Every heat exchanger is designed to ASME Section VIII Division 1 (with optional Division 2), TEMA Class R/C/B, HTRI thermal verification, and is National Board registered. PED 2014/68/EU CE marking and CRN registration for all Canadian provinces are available on request.
What Hastelloy C-276 / C2000 / C-22 Heat Exchangers Are
Hastelloy is a family of nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloys with outstanding resistance to a wide range of corrosive media — especially mixed acids and hot chlorides. The C-family — C-276, C-22, C-2000 — represents the most widely used grades in chemical and petrochemical heat exchanger service.
Why Hastelloy C-276 / C2000 / C-22 Heat Exchangers Matter
When a heat exchanger contains mixed oxidizing and reducing acids, hot chlorides, wet chlorine, or hypochlorites, Hastelloy is often the only practical material. It is used in flue-gas desulfurization (FGD) reheaters, nuclear-waste evaporators, pharmaceutical reactor/condenser systems, and chemical-synthesis condensers where corrosion control is paramount.
Hastelloy C-276 / C2000 / C-22 Heat Exchangers — Specifications and Capabilities
