Roben, Mfg., Inc. specializes in the custom engineering and fabrication of hastelloy c-276, c2000, c-22 for chemical, fine chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, defense, and power-generation industries. Every project is designed to ASME Section VIII Division 1 (with optional Division 2), is National Board registered, complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) for CE marking, and is registered under the Canadian Registration Number (CRN) system for all Canadian provinces.
What Hastelloy C-276, C2000, C-22 Are
Hastelloy is a family of nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloys with outstanding resistance to a wide range of corrosive media, especially mixed acids and hot chlorides. The C-family — C-276, C-22, C-2000 — represents the most widely used grades in chemical and petrochemical service.
Why Hastelloy C-276, C2000, C-22 Matter
When a process contains mixed oxidizing and reducing acids, hot chlorides, wet chlorine, or hypochlorites, Hastelloy is often the only practical material. It is used in flue-gas desulfurization (FGD), nuclear waste handling, pharmaceutical reactors, and chemical synthesis where corrosion control is paramount.
