Different clients and EPCs standardize on different software. Using all three lets us deliver design packages in the format the client expects — saving review time and avoiding software-translation issues.

What is the difference between Compress and PV Elite?

Both are full ASME VIII Div. 1 and Div. 2 packages. Compress (Codeware) emphasizes detailed nozzle reinforcement and skirt analysis with strong reporting; PV Elite (Hexagon) emphasizes dynamic and seismic analysis. Aspen B-JAC integrates with Aspen process simulators for heat exchangers.

Can Roben Mfg. provide the calculation file in the client's preferred format?

Yes. We deliver the calculation set in the package the client specifies — Compress, Aspen, or PV Elite — along with PDF submittal copies.

Does Roben Mfg. perform FEA in addition to code calculations?

Yes. Code calculations cover the bulk of the design, and FEA is used where the geometry exceeds code rules (junctions, complex supports, fatigue, externally applied loads). We run FEA in ANSYS or Solidworks Simulation.

What deliverables come with the design package?

Calculation report (code-compliant, signed), drawings (for client and Authorized Inspector review), weight and COG sheet, MTRs and material list, and the manufacturer's data report (U-1/U-1A) at completion.
